Age of Consent at Kutz N Kurlz Hair & Beauty

The minimum age for piercing without parental consent at Kutz N Kurlz Hair & Beauty is 16 years of age.

Any person who is under 16 years of age will need to be accompanied by somebody who has Parental Rights who will be able to sign giving written consent for the piercing.

Piercing will not be carried out on any individual who is:-

• Under 16 years of age on their next birthday who does not bring along someone with parental rights.
• Any person who is under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs.

Clients should discuss their Medical History with the piercer and read the aftercare leaflet before signing the consent form. If aftercare advice provided is not followed, a piercing will be more at risk of infection.

Clients should also be aware of the following risks that may be associated with piercing, and consider these before giving consent for the procedure:-

• Allergic reaction to the Jewellery.
• Migration or Rejection of Jewellery
• Localised infection at the piercing site
• Localised swelling and trauma
